A WALK to admire the bluebells in Staunton and raise funds for Guide Dogs for the Blind is taking place on May 9.

The walk starts from Staunton Village Hall at 10.30am and walkers have the option of the length of walk. A guide will attend to lead and point out interesting landmarks.

Refreshments will be provided.

Lesley Maclean, from Guide Dogs, said: "The bluebells at Staunton are really impressive and this is an opportunity for people to see a wonderful spectacle.

“Dogs are welcome to come on the walk but only guide dogs are allowed in the village hall. There is ample parking at the hall and we will have a stall and tombola.”
