IN reply to a letter in your paper last week from Dr  R Finch does anyone know him/her?

Does this person live in the Forest  of Dean?

They have the audacity to write about people who live here complaining about  “their precious lawns”  being damaged by wild pigs (boar).

This person seems to forget to mention the playing fields/ recreation grounds, verges, etc that have ben destroyed by these animals.

Yes, the children were poking a boar with sticks, perhaps trying to drive it away?

There are 85,000 of us in the Forest ‘sharing’ with 1,500 wild pigs and some of us have the audacity to complain? I wonder why?

I am sure that there will be more letters about this from Foresters who are a lot more eloquent than I.
