WITH reference to your reader's letter on garden fires I couldn't agree more.

Some people light fires without any consideration for anyone. It is time the law was changed.

This is the 21st century and we are always being told we must be environmentally friendly!

During the past couple of weeks we have had to keep our doors and windows closed. We haven't been able to sit outside or peg washing out because of thick smoke and smuts everywhere, and I'm not talking garden bonfires I'm talking trees, bushes and anything else that would burn.
