PERHAPS you would like to compare the treatment of tolls on the new Forth Bridge and the Humber Bridge as set out on the website of the Campaign for an English Parliament by Della Petch and compare it with the tolls on the Severn Bridge.
I am at a loss to describe the conduct of the English. Clearly the word 'mug' is not adequately offensive to rouse the torpor of the English. I noted also the discussion on NHS (that is, English) prescription charges on 'Question Time' last week. It was simply incredible given the fact that only the English pay such charges. Shirley Williams was alarmed at the prospect that the Welsh might be asked to make some contribution along with the English. I had always thought that the English were simply super subtle, and biding their time. Clearly this is no longer a possible explanation. They seem to have been brainwashed. – Gerald Morgan (Lydbrook School; English Parliamentary Party).
