STAFF, parents and pupils at Redbrook Primary School are proud of the recent improvements which have been made to the two class village school.

Over the last 16 months pupils have been involved in designing a new logo for their revamped school uniform and are pleased with the result. The logo has also been included on new signage which is displayed to promote the school in the community.

In addition, governors have been proactive in making improvements to the Victorian building by refurbishing rooms which had previously been unusable due to the deterioration and turning them into a new Library.

This has made a significant improvement to the learning environment for pupils and staff and provides a welcoming entrance to the main building which is full of displays of pupils' work.

Redbrook School is in a Formal Collaboration Partnership with St Briavels Primary School, with Mrs Mandy Lloyd as the executive headteacher.

Mrs Lloyd spends her time equally between the two schools and is passionate about the importance of maintaining each school's individual identity and the part that they play within their own village communities.

The staff of both schools work together on the school improvement agenda, its focus on raising standards. They are excited about further developmental opportunities in the future as they concentrate on providing a high class education for all the children in the partnership.
