A BRAVE trio of mates from Coleford went under the razor to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Research.

Paul Westwood, Joe Mattock and Andy Howes, who all work at Jewson builders' merchants on the Tufthorn industrial estate, agreed to the extreme haircut as part of the company's drive to help Macmillan.

Wielding were the razors were stylists Natalie Burcher, of No 10 Head Office in Coleford, and Sarah Nash and Jane Adams who is sales co-ordinator at the Coleford branch of Jewson.

They already have more than £700 in pledges and hope to top £1,000 with proceeds from a raffle.

Jane said: "Jewson has chosen Macmillan as its charity and we've organised the headshave and raffle.

"It started when Paul said he would have his head shaved if he could get £50 and Joe and Andy said they would too.

"I think they've been very, very brave.

"The donations have come from customers and our suppliers have given prizes for the raffle."
