POLICE are appealing to a couple who may hold information to an alleged assault near Parkend.

An argument broke out between an 18-year-old man and another man around 2am on Sunday, October 25 near Cannop Crossroads.

The 18-year-old victim suffered a broken jaw and nose and fractured cheekbone.

Police would now like to speak to a couple who were sat in a silver Citroen C1 parked in the area at the time.

A 20-year-old Coleford man was arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident.

Anybody with information should call police on 101 quoting incident number 68 of Sunday, October 25.
