RESIDENTS in Huntley have been urged to remove valuable items from their cars after four break-ins in one night.
Two vehicles were targeted in Tibberton Lane while two further incidents occurred in Byfords Close between 7pm on Friday, March 28 and 11am on Saturday, March 29.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said: "Untidy searches were made in all cases with items stolen from a Toyota Yaris and a satellite navigation system taken from a Kia Magentis. In that case, the offender also switched an interior light on and left it on causing the car battery to run flat.
"Officers say that patrols in the area have been increased but want residents to take time to consider security and ensure they don't leave valuables in their vehicle overnight."
Anyone with information about the offences mentioned should call 101, quoting incident 88 of March 29.
