MEET Teddy, the elusive cat who knows the area around Milkwall and Ellwood like the back of his paw.

Teddy went for a walk in April but has only recently returned home to Milkwall and relieved owner Carolyn Willis.

Mrs Willis said: "He was only nine months old when he went and when he didn't return after a few days I didn't think I'd get him back.

"I put posters up all over the place and I was getting phone calls but nobody could actually catch him.

"He was seen in Fetter Hill and Ellwood and he looks pretty good.

"He must have pulled a few heartstrings around the area and got some bed and breakfast.

"I just like to thank everyone who looked for him and helped."
