FURTHER to your excellent article in the Review reference the Wye Valley cycleway project, I would like to point out that chair of the recent meeting Mr Bart Venner states "he wasn't even a cyclist!"
Bart may not be a current cyclist but in recent times was chairman of and a pillar of the Royal Dean Forest Cycling Club, and in 1988 was voted the club's 'Clubman of the Year' winning the Cyril Adams Memorial Cup for his exploits on two wheels.
