I READ that the Labour Party in the Forest had a nice 'jolly' with Lord Neil Kinnock.

This is the champion of the working man who, between him and his wife, pocketed an estimated £10 million in pay, allowances and pension entitlements during their time working at the EU.

This included £1.8 million for Neil's wages and £775,000 for Lady Kinnock, allowances for Lady Kinnock's staff and office costs of £2.9 million, a £65,000 'entertainment allowance' for Lord Kinnock and five publicly-funded pensions worth £4.4 million (allowing them to retire on £183,000 a year).

Neither was elected. Nice work if you can get it.  Champagne socialist? I should say old chap.

Up the workers! Yeah right up!
