A MAN faces several charges following a large scale search in the Forest on Sunday.

Luke Alexander Jones, 23, of no fixed abode, has been charged with taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, robbery, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.

He was arrested after a search of the Minsterworth, Lydney and Newnham area involving police dogs, the police helicopter and local officers which had been triggered by a sighting of a vehicle believed to have been stolen in Highnam on Sunday morning.
