PHOTOGRAPHS by Chinese photographers who visited the Forest recently will go on display in Coleford.
The four members of the China Photographic Association visited the Forest and other parts of Gloucestershire during the last week of November as part of the organisation’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
They were given official welcomes in Coleford and Gloucester and then toured the county with good weather giving ample opportunity for them to appreciate the beauty of the area.
The visit was organised by Cheltenham-based Associated Culture, Education and Sport, which encourages exchanges between the UK and China, with the assistance of local councils and Coleford Area Partnership.
The visitors brought with them an exhibition of 40 photographs which will be shown in The Beauty of China exhibition.
The photographs will be on show at the Main Place until Saturday (January 7) and after that will go on a tour of the libraries in Newent, Cinderford, Coleford and Lydney.
The pictures will be shown in smaller groups, changing weekly until all have been exhibited at each library.
