CHRISTMAS was a wondrous time

In all my years gone by

The happiness and jollity, it simply was sublime

As time moves on, I wonder why

What's happened to those days

My children all grown up and gone their separate ways

TV was black and white, with channels only two

But now I think I've got well over forty two!

Christmas round the fireside always

Felt just right

But now what is it missing?

Oh! I think it's Silent Night.
