A new club for people who have lost partners through bereavement has started in the Forest.

The aim of the Way Forward club is to allow people to meet on a regular basis in a relaxed atmosphere.

A spokesman for the club said: "It is very difficult for most of use who have had years of enjoyment with our late partners and best mate to change and reinvent ourselves.

"We all need something to look forward to and fill those lonely hours."

The club meets at the Fountain pub in Parkend on Mondays starting at 7.30pm.
