THROUGH your paper, we would like to convey our heartfelt thanks to the people of St Briavels and the surrounding area who have supported our coffee mornings over the years.

At the last event, held on August 2013 Bank Holiday Monday, we raised over £1,014 in just over two hours for Lydney Hospital and Great Oaks Hospice.

This brings the total we raised last year for cancer and local charities to £3,399 and since we started 22 years ago our total is now over £60,000.

Our thanks go to those who support us at these events, those who donate items but also special thanks to our band of volunteers who give up their time to help.

The continuing generosity and support that we have received over the past 22 years inspires us to continue to do what we can to raise money for these worthwhile causes.  Please come and join us at our next coffee morning on Easter Monday at The Pavilion, St Briavels from 10am.
