I?WOULD?like to propose the change of name for our beloved historic market town of Coleford.

I would like to see the name changed to Co-opford, as they seem to be taking over the town.

The Co-operative is a major player in the demise of the Coleford High Street.

The local council should be helping Tesco come to Coleford with a larger store than the Tesco Express, in order to bring about some decent competition for local shoppers to benefit from better prices and services.

Harry Tuffins have done Coleford no favours at all by selling out to the Co-operative. They should be ashamed of what they have allowed to happen.

Come on Tesco, I welcome your larger store coming to the town.
