I lived in Aylburton until my early teens and recently started visiting my cousins who still live in this area.

In 2009 your newspaper did an article on Aylburton Carnival, which mentioned that lots of the ex-residents go back for the day. That was all we needed to hear and we joined the happy crowds and met lots of old friends.

It was at that point that we decided it would be great to meet even more old friends and started making arrangements for a school reunion.

So this year, after the carnival, we will be holding the reunion for anyone who attended Aylburton school between 1920-1965.
