It was with pleasure that I read the district's Community Transport Partnership has secured £300 of Big Lottery Funding.

But was sorry to see the report in the Review hadn't mentioned Lydcare Community Transport in their list of partnership members.

As co-ordinator for Lydcare Transport, we are all volunteers and I think we give an excellent service to the community.

Our drivers are all CRB checked and all are conscientious and dedicated people whose only wish is to help their community.

Long may the Forest community schemes continue to run.
