NO one likes to moan, especially at this special time of year, but there are a couple of gripes which, if addressed, could make life so much more pleasant and safe for the rest of us.
Please dog owners — you know who you are — pick up the mess deposited by your dogs on pavements etc.
Have you no conscience?
This is a massive problem which people have been complaining about for years but, unfortunately, there will always be people who are too lazy and inconsiderate to do the right thing.
Bring back dog licences.
In addition, we all have to learn the Highway Code when taking our driving test but thereafter it is ignored, for example parking opposite junctions, parking on bends and on pavements, preventing buggy access.
It all comes down to the inconvenience of a few against the inconvenience of everyone else.
To summarise: let’s keep our pavements clear of excrement and make road parking safer.
