I’M curious to know if other readers who are constituents of Mark Harper MP have ever received a reply from him or his office?
My wife and I have written, via e-mail, on approximately five occasions, over a long period of time but have yet to receive a reply or acknowledgment of any kind.
All our requests and questions such as: are you prepared to support this? Or why did you vote/abstain on that, have been polite, contained no bad language and were not abusive to Mr Harper or his party.
Each request for an answer was accompanied by a full name, address and postcode.
I keep seeing notice boards with a smiling Mark telling us how to contact him. It’s true, we can – he doesn’t contact us.
We don’t want to go to one of his surgeries and take up a poten-
tially valuable appointment from someone who may need urgent help but that’s not an excuse for our elected representative to totally ignore us.
Rumour has it that we’re not alone, but perhaps other people’s experience is different to ours?
