THE LOCAL council serving the village that includes Severn Tunnel Junction station has found itself in the firing line over parking at the station.

Commuter parking has become an issue in Rogiet as the number of people using the station has spiralled and more cars are left on streets surrounding the station.

The latest round in the debate opened with anger over Rogiet Community Council's decision to stop commuters using the approach to the village playing field as an "overflow" car park.
