POLICE are hoping to track down a motorist who failed to stop after colliding with a cyclist last Tuesday (June 14) on the Forest Road, Lydney, just before Dean Forest Railway's Norchard Station.

The collision left the 21-year-old cyclist from Lydney in crutches with head and ear wounds and a number of scratches and grazes.

Police say the collision happened at around 7.20pm and the cyclist was knocked over by a light blue car which overtook him and then failed to stop. 

A black 4x4 vehicle was seen in the area at the time and police are particularly keen to speak to the driver to find out if they have any information.
