DOG fouling is a problem wherever you care to venture and no matter what is said it always falls on deaf ears.
However, eureka, a company in America has come up with a brilliant process which involves identifying the offending dog by DNA taken from a 'poo' sample.
In certain problem areas all dog owners have to submit their animals for a DNA swab to be taken from their cheeks.
The information is stored on a DNA database and both offending dog and owner can be identified.
This process is being taken up by Canada, Israel and Singapore.
What a brilliant facility this would prove to be. Unfortunately in this area (Lydney) alone there would needed to be an army of 'poo collectors' and a massive processing plant working overtime, such is the problem.
