THE Dean and The Marches section of the Historic Rally Car Register have presented a cheque for £1,100 to the Midland Air Ambulance.

The local section of the HRCR, based at Ross Motorsport Club in Kyrle Street, Ross, was set up just over one year ago and attracts around 30 members to its monthly meetings.

At each meeting a small amount of money is raised for charities. Members enjoyed an informative talk by a representative from the Air Ambulance before the presentation.
