TWO rabbit rescue centre volunteers hopped to it when the charity needed funds.

Sarah Wasley and Di Stamps both help out at Windwhistle Warren Rabbit Rescue in Westbury-on-Severn, which is home to more than 100 bunnies.

And the duo pulled on their trainers to run the Alderton 5k, raising a bumper £1,715.

Sarah said: “We set out to raise £500, but are delighted with the response.”

Windwhistle was founded in 2003 by Alice Chamberlain and Jane Fry.
