IN the Politics Show on television all the political parties (except the Green Party) stress the need for growth.

I try to understand economics but not very successfully.

Could someone better informed than I am, help me to understand what this growth entails?

The resources on this planet are running out so until we find resources on another planet we will have to use resources very carefully. With depleted resources how do we achieve growth?
