RUGBY fans are getting revved up for Sunday’s annual Wayne Barnes charity match at Lydney RFC, which will see England coach Eddie Jones back at Regenstholme.

Eddie will coach the Wayne Barnes XV against a Forest of Dean XV after guiding them to victory on his last visit two years ago.

And England World Cup winner and British and Irish Lion Lawrence Dallaglio will kick the fundraisier off in aid of Breast Cancer Now by joining Wayne and Sunday Times rugby writer Stephen Jones for a Q&A curry and pint night at the clubhouse at 8pm on

Saturday (May 4).

Fellow World Cup winner and Lion Mark Regan has been confirmed for the match itself, after he played in last year’s 53-53 draw alongside the likes of Ugo Monye, Mark Regan and Dafydd James, in a team coached by Wales boss Warren Gatland.

Former Gloucester and Wales fly-half Nicky Robinson and England scrum-half Shaun Perry will also be lacing up their boots,

The annual game is organised by Bream international referee Wayne Barnes and his Yorkley-raised wife Polly in memory of the official’s mother-in-law Debbie Broderick, who died of breast cancer in 2007.

The Wayne Barnes XV will play the Forest of Dean Combination side for the Debbie Broderick Memorial Cup at 2pm.

Doors will open from 11am for a series of mini matches, and there will be a raffle, auction (with superstar auctioneer) and live music to follow the main event, which will be filmed by BT Sport.

There will also be food, drink and family fun all day, and the bar will be open until late.
