DEAN Heritage Centre wants to hear from artists and community groups interested in putting on exhibitions.

Collections officer, Nicola Wynn says: “We have hosted community exhibitions for a long time and have a space - Gallery 41 - dedicated to these displays.

"We offer a facility to exhibit to the Forest of Dean community, tourists and visitors. Don’t worry if you have little experience of doing displays as we can help in creating an exhibition. It is a great opportunity to promote and publicise yourselves.”

Previous exhibitions include Girl Guides, Local History Society, Bream

Garden Club, Dean Photographic Club, work by local schools and Forest

of Dean rugby clubs. Artists are also being asked to come forward.

Nicola added: “There is a space in our gallery between July and November this year. If you’re interested in exhibiting, please

provide information about yourself and a couple of images of your

work. We’ve hosted many art exhibitions and this is a chance to display your work locally in lovely surroundings.”
