THE family of a teenager who was violently assaulted after hundreds of people attended a 2016 Monmouth Festival gig have renewed their plea to track down the two attackers.
The 15-year-old boy was assaulted on Chippenham playing fields after a performance in the neighbouring town centre car park by popular local soul band The Mighty Pledge.
Police said the teen was pulled from behind by two men and attacked on Tuesday, July 26, between 10.30pm and 11pm.
One suspect is described as being white, aged 18 to 19 years old and around 5ft 11 tall. There was another man with the suspect with a similar description.
One of the men is of a slim frame, possibly wearing tracksuit bottoms, while the other man had short brown hair with a beard and moustache.
Gigs on the main festival stage beside Monnow Bridge end around 10.30pm and people would have been making their way home when the attack happened.
If anyone has any information call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 138 27/07/16.
