POLICE are hunting for thieves who stole cash from the farm shop at Chepstow Garden Centre in Pwllmeyric on Friday night.

The police helicopter and two patrol cars were involved in the hunt for the thieves who escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police were alerted to the break-in at the shop at 8.20pm.

An office area had been searched through and three tills damaged. Another two tills and cash were stolen.
