THE ORCHARD Trust at Lydbrook marked its 30th anniversary with the official opening of two new facilities.

The new activity park and therapeutic smallholding was unveiled by trust founder George Gordon-Smith.

The park is free and fully accessible with wheelchair-friendly paths and an ‘encounter barn’.

In the barn pygmy goats and sheep can be fed close up and a ‘rabbitarium’ allows close contact with small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs.

The trust thanked sponsors and volunteers.
