MARTIN Yarworth, the man involved in a long-running dispute over a farmhouse and land at Newnham, says his case will soon be presented before the European Court of Human Rights.

Mr Yarworth is still living in a caravan close to Underhill Farm though the property has now been sold. He has received a letter saying his case will be heard "as soon as practicable."

"I have been told that it could be early next year," said Mr Yarworth.

Mr Yarworth kept up a one-man war with a mortgage company over the ownership of the property and at one stage held a roof-top protest.

The mortgage company sold the property and land to a local man and Mr Yarworth is now urging him not to carry out any work there at least until the case has been heard.

Mr Yarworth, who says he is in poor health, told the Review: "I intend to carry on fighting for justice."
