CAN the government not see that these strikes are happening because of the government's failure to rein in the obscene way they treat the top business people – some of whom class themselves 'non-domicile' to avoid taxes.
I have mentioned this to my MP who, to me it seems, will not hear a word said against the bankers He says to me : "Oh they do pay their taxes." I would like him to know that I can read and understand.
I also know what misery strikes can cause, I was on strike at Llanwern for 13 weeks and didn't have a penny coming in and had to live on my savings.
Until the government realise the favoured way they treat the bankers these strikes will get worse
