LIVING in Pillowell is like living next to a race track, says local man Martyn Watkins.
"It has become an increasing problem and is now out of hand. Cars and motorcyclists are both to blame and some of them travel through the village at very high and dangerous speeds," he said.
Police have carried out two speed checks during the past fortnight and Mr Watkins has organised a petition.
"We are not asking for a cut in the speed limit but simply for people to drive within the existing 30mph limit. What we need are repeater signs to remind drivers they should keep their speed down," he said.
