On my daily walks with the dog in the Forest of Dean, I spend my time picking up all sort of dirt left behind by people who are either too lazy to walk to the bins available or come in the silent hours to dump their rubbish because they think they have no responsibility to the world they live in.

Maybe these people don't know there are perfectly well organised recycling areas available. And normally the staff there are always very helpful.

How would they think about others dropping only just a small piece of dirt in their garden? I can imagine the reaction.

Reading the recent letter in your paper about the plans for culling the boars in the Forest made me really cross. The boar does not litter the Forest but he gets pushed out.

I am now wondering who is the better species to live with: the boar who lives in harmony with the Forest or the people who do not respect it? – Name and address supplied.
