POLICE arrested three men and a woman after a car crashed into a parked camper van in Redbrook last Saturday (March 31), smashing its wheel half off.

The car left the scene, but the four were arrested by Gwent Police officers nearby on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking a short while later.

The camper van was undriveable and was later taken away for repair after being loaded onto a trailer on the Newland road, just off the main Wye Valley route.

Following investigation, three people were released with no further action taken, and one person was released under investigation for document offences.
