SATURDAY (June 11) sees the annual Dilke Hospital Fete which promises a great afternoon of fun in the sun – hopefully!

Organised by the Friends of the hospital it takes place from 2pm in the grounds near Cinderford.

"It's always a fun filled afternoon with plenty of stalls and there will be circus skills, model trains, face painting and a fire engine for the children," said a spokesman for the organisers.

There will also be live entertainment from the Wyedance Group and Berry Hill Band.

"All the money raised is used to help with purchase of equipment for the benefit of both inpatients and outpatients solely at the Dilke Memorial Hospital," said the spokesman.
