IT'S that time of year again! Drybrook Primary School is hosting its annual Open Garden weekend on Saturday and Sunday (July 2 and 3, 11am-5pm).
The popular and enjoyable event has been held since 2000 and it includes a variety of interesting gardens, big and small, neat and wild. There will be plants for sale, teas and a raffle.
This year the event is being supported by the Drybrook Allotment and Leisure Gardeners Society, whose allotments at Morse Road will be open for viewing on both days.
As well as fruit and vegetables on the 40 working plots, visitors can see beehives and chickens.
Visitors pay at the first garden and can then visit as many gardens they wish. Proceeds go to Drybrook School.
