WOULD you permit me through your Letters page to thank good neighbours and true friends in Ruardean Woodside for the concern and support following an attack on me by a number of Great Dane dogs in Bakers Piece Road on February 7 whilst I was walking with my Pomeranian dog.
Special thanks to Guy Williams who rescued me and my little dog from possible serious injuries and Rose Williams for her help immediately after the attack when I was suffering severe shock. Also many thanks to Dr and Mrs Gibbons for their support and kindness.
It was comforting to receive so many telephone calls inquiring about me.
I have never been so frightened in my life and feared that my small dog was going to be torn to pieces. I really thought I was going to die.
Thanks once again to everyone who showed concern for me. – Janet P. Pennock, Ruardean Woodside.
