THESE lively young performers from The Dell Primary School's musical theatre group were among more than 200 who entertained a large audience at Chepstow Castle.

They are pictured performing Fat Sam's Grand Slam from the musical Bugsy Malone which was one of two numbers they performed on the evening.

They were one of a number of groups from Chepstow and Sedbury who performed in the opening concert of this year's Chepstow Festival.

The concert was organised by the Rotary Club of Chepstow and was a fund-raiser for Rotary's International campaign to eradicate polio.

The event also saw the unveiling of the new canopy to protect audiences from the British summer.
