DIRECTOR of the Forest Fitness Centre Alan Elliott recently parted with his trademark ponytail to raise money for the County Air Ambulance.
The trim followed the sad death of Heywood teacher Jamie Davis last year, one incident attended by the Air Ambulance, and students together with Alan pledged to support the service's ongoing duties.
The hair-lop raised £1,050 which was presented to ambulance representative Mark Wilkins on a visit to the Centre's over-50s rehabilitation session.
