WHY does Lydney council keep kicking the question of toilets at Lydney harbour into touch?

This is a disgrace when old ladies have to use the bushes and reeds by the river. When you have got to go you have got to go!

Some months ago a group of OAPs visited the harbour – a beautiful spot, one of the best in Gloucestershire.

While walking on the banks of the river, we were stopped and asked by some ladies if we would mind walking back a little way as some of the party, after not finding a toilet, were using the cover of the reeds.

It is a disgrace and embarrassing and should not happen!

Posh loos are not needed in this present time – some old, portable ones (as in Gloucester bus station) will do very well.

Toilets are vital, so come on Lydney!
