RESIDENTS have until Friday (January 11) to have their say on a county’s public toilets, although the local authority admits there is no extra funding to improve them.
People in Monmouthshire have been urged to put in their ‘tuppence worth’ on spending a penny, to identify what provision exists and where there is a need for more toilets and changing facilities.
The county council wants the views of residents and others to help inform its ‘Local Toilet Strategy’. In Monmouthshire many public toilets are provided by town and community councils.
