A PUBLIC meeting is to be held at Coleford Fire Station on December 5 (6pm) to discuss plans for the future of Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service (GFRS).
Proposals to modernise the service have just been published today. Plans include better flood support, increased response targets and developing life-saving skills for firefighters.
Staff and partners have already been consulted and now a series of meetings are being held to get feedback from residents.
As well as meetings, consultation documents have been sent out to all local parish councils and the plans are available to view online at http://www.glosfire.gov.uk/irmp">www.glosfire.gov.uk/irmp
