FOREST of Dean Health Forum is organising a special ‘health care fest’ on Saturday, July 2 in Lydney.
The event is open to everyone and gives people the chance to find out about the extensive range of health care services in the area.
Health care representatives will also attend the event at the Community Centre in Naas Lane from 11am to 2pm.
Marie Fraser Griffiths, spokesperson for Forest Health Forum, said: “You may be surprised at the help and advice you can get without necessarily attending your GP surgery. The services cover all areas of care in the community from birth onwards.”
The Forest Health Care Fest will be opened by Dame Janet Trotter, the Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, and attended by members of local councils and trusts.
The day is sponsored by Midcounties Cooperative Society. Tea and refreshments will also be available.
