IT has certainly been a busy month for the Royal Forest of Dean Inner Wheel.

Committee members have been sorting through more than 350kgs worth of goods that were donated by the public at a recent collection for the victims of the Philippines disaster.

They have since also packed three cars full of presents for victims of domestic abuse in the Forest. Not only did they receive 212 parcels but a cash amount for emergencies, a box of towels, a baby bouncer and a box of DVDs, which has all been delivered to the Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service.

A tea dance the members fund each month for Alzheimer sufferers and their carers was made extra special this month as the Royal Forest of Dean Rotary Club donated £100 towards the festivities.
