RUSPIDGE and Soudley Early Learners (formally Ruspidge Playgroup) this year celebrate 40 years of operating in Ruspidge Memorial Hall.

As part of celebrations the organisers are planning two weekend activities, the first of which is a family party on Saturday (July 16, 4pm-6pm) at the hall.

Tickets give entry to a disco, soft play area, refreshments and a bottle raffle (donations of cakes and bottles needed).

The group is also asking everyone to join them at Wenchford picnic site for fun and games on Saturday July 23 from 11.30 onwards – bring a picnic and a change of clothes for a splash in the stream.

"All are welcome and we would especially like to hear from past and present committee members/mothers/children who attended," say the organisers.
