I THINK you and your readers will be interested to know how much Chepstow Community Hospital is costing us.
It was a Private Finance Initiative operation. It was built and will be operated for 25 years by Kitra Ltd, for a capital cost of approx £10m and an annual charge of £1.2m to Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust. That is £30m.
To me, £10m seems to be a high price. for building, and a repayment of £30m also seems to be excessive, what do your readers think?
If you have a computer you can see it by logging on to 'Chepstow Community Hospital.' Another interesting site is 'The Skye Bridge.'
