THE first guide to the history of Chepstow to be published for 40 years is coming out next month.

The Chepstow Society's  fully illustrated 28 page introductory guide to the history of the town draws on up-to-date information and the knowledge of Chepstow Society members. 

It is the first history of the town to be published for some 40 years, since the pioneering work of the Society's founding secretary, local historian Ivor Waters. The new guide will be available at Chepstow Bookshop, Chepstow Museum and the Tourist Information Centre.
